Windows of 50 Years

Paul McGann days to go until the Day of the Doctor, THE big event of the 23rd of November.

My Doctor Who fandomness has never been higher in my hype. Hell, I might even shove Season 4 of You Know What to the side just for this, it's that big. I've got my eye on merch, been goggling videos, working a bit harder on fan-fiction, even planning a nice GMod pic by the time the special hits.

I also made this. With the release of Night of the Doctor (SERIOUSLY, watch it if you're a Dr. Who fan: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U3jrS… ), I felt that the long-awaited reappearance of the Eighth Doctor warrented the moment for me to do something special for all the Doctors being recognized. Seizing the motief of the windows of the good old TARDIS's sides, I took pictures of all 11 Doctors (and Mr. Hurt's character) as they have been seen in this year's material (namely Name of the Doctor, the 50 Years trailer linked to above, and DotD trailers) and put them in an orderly order in the TARDIS windowframe. Slap in a 50 Years TARDIS logo courtesy of theDoctorWHO2 ( thedoctorwho2.deviantart.com/a… ), and BAM! Wallpaper material, if I do say so myself.

Struggled a bit on some pic choices here and there. Choosing 7's pic was a bit hard due to no copy of NotD to look at for an HD pic. I did the best I could with the hanging shot due to not liking the way he looked in closeup. Also, maybe not too happy with 8 & 10's scenes, but I think they work well, and were fitting my mental image.

Aw well, in any case, happy 50th! We're almost there, and having Paul back is a great way to hype things!
